Com essa frase, o reitor da Universidade Estadual da Para\u00edba (UEPB), professor Rangel Junior, sintetizou a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do 1\u00ba Simp\u00f3sio de Forr\u00f3, promovido pela Institui\u00e7\u00e3o, atrav\u00e9s do Departamento de Jornalismo, nesta segunda-feira (27), na Central de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Acad\u00eamica, no C\u00e2mpus de Bodocong\u00f3, em Campina Grande. O evento promoveu uma ampla discuss\u00e3o sobre um dos principais ritmos nordestinos e lan\u00e7ou a edi\u00e7\u00e3o 2019 do Rep\u00f3rter Junino, projeto de extens\u00e3o que envolve alunos de jornalismo na cobertura do Maior S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o do Mundo.<\/p>\n<p>A primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o do Simp\u00f3sio de Forr\u00f3 contou com a mesa redonda \u201cEu s\u00f3 quero um forr\u00f3\u201d, que teve a participa\u00e7\u00e3o da secret\u00e1ria de Desenvolvimento Social e Econ\u00f4mico da Prefeitura de Campina Grande, Ros\u00e1lia Lucas; do professor e escritor Jurani Clementino, autor do livro \u201cForr\u00f3 no S\u00edtio\u201d; do cantor, compositor e reitor da UEPB, Rangel Junior; e contou com a media\u00e7\u00e3o do professor Rostand Melo. Na ocasi\u00e3o, foi discutida a representatividade do forr\u00f3 e a import\u00e2ncia da valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o cultural. <\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m foi realizada uma videoconfer\u00eancia com o cineasta Fred Alves e com o dan\u00e7arino e core\u00f3grafo Carlos Frevo, que discutiram as potencialidades do forr\u00f3 e toda a sua for\u00e7a cultural. Foi atrav\u00e9s do bai\u00e3o de Luiz Gonzaga, da alegria de Jackson do Pandeiro e toda a majestade de Marin\u00eas que o forr\u00f3 se popularizou no exterior e ganhou espa\u00e7o na Alemanha. \u201cEm Berlim, tem forr\u00f3 a noite inteira todos os dias. S\u00e3o 200 pessoas ou at\u00e9 mais que se encontram para dan\u00e7ar forr\u00f3, seja com m\u00fasica ao vivo ou playback\u201d, disse Carlos Frevo.<\/p>\n<ul festa. Ros\u00e1lia Lucas, secret\u00e1ria de Desenvolvimento, contou que, este ano, visando a acessibilidade e, principalmente, o conhecimento da cultura popular, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Maior S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o do Mundo decidiu abrir os port\u00f5es do PP ao meio dia nos fins de semana para que crian\u00e7as e idosos possam curtir um bom forr\u00f3. <\/p>\n<p>Dentro da programa\u00e7\u00e3o, o evento contou com oficinas de dan\u00e7a, como sapateado, e a oficina \u201cAudiovisual: o ritmo do forr\u00f3\u201d, que teve como objetivo capacitar os interessados em aprender sobre edi\u00e7\u00e3o de v\u00eddeo. Encerrando a primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o do evento, \u00e0 noite, foi exibido pela primeira vez o filme Estradar &#8211; Mestre Jenaro &amp; Fabiano Santana, do cineata Fred Alves que, pela teleconfer\u00eancia, debateu sobre a experi\u00eancia de filmar um longa-metragem da cultura brasileira na Europa. <\/p>\n<p>A mesa redonda \u201cO forr\u00f3 daqui \u00e9 melhor do que o teu\u201d foi composta pela professora e coordenadora do projeto Gente Nossa, Goretti Sampaio; pelo ator e teatr\u00f3logo Saulo Queiroz; pelo diretor de jornalismo da TV Borborema, Bastos Farias; e mediada pelo professor Ar\u00e3o Azevedo, que debateram sobre a influ\u00eancia da m\u00eddia sob o forr\u00f3.
