{"id":760,"date":"2019-03-13T13:09:23","date_gmt":"2019-03-13T13:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uepb.edu.br\/?p=46981"},"modified":"2019-03-13T13:09:23","modified_gmt":"2019-03-13T13:09:23","slug":"pesquisa-desenvolvida-na-uepb-comprova-viabilidade-para-exploracao-do-abacaxizeiro-perola-no-sertao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centros.uepb.edu.br\/ccha\/pesquisa-desenvolvida-na-uepb-comprova-viabilidade-para-exploracao-do-abacaxizeiro-perola-no-sertao\/","title":{"rendered":"Pesquisa desenvolvida na UEPB comprova viabilidade para explora\u00e7\u00e3o do abacaxizeiro p\u00e9rola no  Sert\u00e3o"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Uma pesquisa desenvolvida na Escola Agrot\u00e9cnica do Cajueiro, localizada no Centro de Ci\u00eancias Humanas e Agr\u00e1rias (CCHA) da Universidade Estadual da Para\u00edba (UEPB), comprovou a viabilidade t\u00e9cnica para a explora\u00e7\u00e3o do abacaxizeiro p\u00e9rola no Sert\u00e3o paraibano. O coordenador da pesquisa, professor Jos\u00e9 Geraldo Rodrigues dos Santos, estudou os efeitos de doses de biofertilizante e de l\u00e2minas de irriga\u00e7\u00e3o na produ\u00e7\u00e3o da fruta em condi\u00e7\u00f5es semi\u00e1ridas, bem como sua qualidade, mostrando a efici\u00eancia do uso de biofertilizante, aplicado via fertirriga\u00e7\u00e3o, na produ\u00e7\u00e3o do abacaxi.<\/p>\n<p>A pesquisa foi realizada no C\u00e2mpus IV da UEPB, em Catol\u00e9 do Rocha, entre os meses de abril de 2017 e novembro de 2018. A cidade tem clima seco, do tipo estepe, com temperatura m\u00e9dia anual de 26,9\u00baC, evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dia anual de 1.707 mil\u00edmetros, umidade relativa do ar m\u00e9dia anual de 50%, insola\u00e7\u00e3o anual de 2.800 horas e precipita\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dia anual de 874,4 mil\u00edmetros, sendo esta \u00faltima caracter\u00edstica concentrada no trimestre fevereiro\/abril.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com o professor Jos\u00e9 Geraldo, aplicando o uso de biofertilizante na produ\u00e7\u00e3o do abacaxi p\u00e9rola, foi obtido, na dose de 50,6 mL\/planta\/vez, em intervalo mensal, frutos pesando em m\u00e9dia 1,1Kg, medindo 22 cm de comprimento, com 11 cm de di\u00e2metro, pH variando de 3,7 a 3,9 e s\u00f3lidos sol\u00faveis totais (SST) entre 14,8 e 17,5 oBrix. Ele destacou que o peso e o tamanho do fruto est\u00e3o dentro dos padr\u00f5es desejados para a referida variedade e que os valores de s\u00f3lidos sol\u00faveis foram superiores aos obtidos nas diferentes regi\u00f5es brasileiras, que tiveram uma varia\u00e7\u00e3o de 14,0 a 16,1 oBrix, conforme literaturas consultadas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsso significa que o abacaxi p\u00e9rola produzido nas condi\u00e7\u00f5es semi\u00e1ridas da microrregi\u00e3o de Catol\u00e9 do Rocha, em consequ\u00eancia do elevado valor do oBrix, tende a ser mais doce. Por outro lado, a \u00fanica restri\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 explora\u00e7\u00e3o da fruta nessas condi\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 a elevada demanda h\u00eddrica, uma vez que foram necess\u00e1rios 1.800 mil\u00edmetros anuais para uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e1xima da cultura, considerando que, nas regi\u00f5es tradicionalmente produtoras, a necessidade h\u00eddrica varia de 1.000 a 1.500 mil\u00edmetros anuais\u201d, explicou professor Geraldo.<\/p>\n<p>Em raz\u00e3o dos resultados positivos alcan\u00e7ados com a pesquisa feita na Escola Agrot\u00e9cnica do Cajueiro, a explora\u00e7\u00e3o da cultura do abacaxi p\u00e9rola ser\u00e1 recomendada para os produtores rurais de base familiar da microrregi\u00e3o de Catol\u00e9 do Rocha, o que contribuir\u00e1 para o aumento da renda no setor rural, com consequente melhoria da qualidade de vida das fam\u00edlias. Professor Jos\u00e9 Geraldo destaca, ainda, que as orienta\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas necess\u00e1rias ser\u00e3o prestadas pelos alunos extensionistas da UEPB e pelos extensionistas rurais da Empresa Paraibana de Pesquisa, Extens\u00e3o Rural e Regulariza\u00e7\u00e3o Fundi\u00e1ria (EMPAER), Ger\u00eancia de Catol\u00e9 do Rocha.<\/p>\n<ul
