Trata-se da iniciativa \u201cEduca\u00e7\u00e3o socioambiental e pr\u00e1ticas em sa\u00fade pela melhoria do bem-estar humano e animal\u201d, aprovado no Edital PROEXt\/MEC 2015 e que, desde ent\u00e3o, realiza uma s\u00e9rie de a\u00e7\u00f5es em v\u00e1rias cidades do Estado.<\/p>\n<p>As atividades desenvolvidas pela equipe do projeto, coordenado pela professora Camila Firmino, do Centro de Ci\u00eancias Agr\u00e1rias e Ambientais (CCAA) da Institui\u00e7\u00e3o, localizado no C\u00e2mpus de Lagoa Seca, envolvem palestras, entrevistas, atividades educativas infantis, desenvolvimento e distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais educativos adultos e infantis, monitoramento e cuidados dos animais comunit\u00e1rios do C\u00e2mpus II, apoio a entidades de prote\u00e7\u00e3o animal atrav\u00e9s de eventos de ado\u00e7\u00e3o e ajuda no manejo dos animais abrigados.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped\">\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\n<li \/><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m faz parte das a\u00e7\u00f5es a esteriliza\u00e7\u00e3o cir\u00fargica de animais da Vila Florestal de Lagoa Seca e de animais adotados atrav\u00e9s de a\u00e7\u00f5es do projeto, atendimento veterin\u00e1rio e controle gratuito de ecto e endoparasitas em comunidades com grande n\u00famero de animais abandonados e semidomiciliados. Recentemente, a equipe do projeto promoveu uma s\u00e9rie de a\u00e7\u00f5es em sa\u00fade em diversos munic\u00edpios, a exemplo de Campina Grande, Lagoa Seca, Nova Palmeira e Cuit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dezenas de animas dessas localidades receberam atendimento veterin\u00e1rio gratuito e passaram pelo controle de ecto e endoparasitas de c\u00e3es e gatos. O trabalho foi realizado em parceria com veterin\u00e1rios das cidades atendidas. J\u00e1 no dia 22 do mesmo m\u00eas, a a\u00e7\u00e3o foi desenvolvida em Nova Palmeira, com 130 pessoas envolvidas na a\u00e7\u00e3o, que beneficiou 101 animais. Em Cuit\u00e9, os atendimentos foram realizados no dia 6 de dezembro, beneficiando 45 animais e envolvendo cerca de 70 pessoas nos trabalhos. A a\u00e7\u00e3o mais recente ocorreu no bairro da Ramadinha, em Campina Grande, com participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 120 pessoas e 85 animais beneficiados. Ainda foi ministrada uma palestra, no dia 14 de novembro, em Serra Branca, na Escola Cidad\u00e3 Integral T\u00e9cnica daquele munic\u00edpio.
