A diversidade desses produtos e a riqueza que brota do solo paraibano foram conferidas na 2\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o da Feira Regional de Produtos Agroecol\u00f3gicos &#8211; Por um S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o livre de transg\u00eanicos e agrot\u00f3xicos, realizada na manh\u00e3 desta quinta-feira (29), na Pra\u00e7a da Bandeira, no Centro de Campina Grande. <\/p>\n<p>A exemplo da adi\u00e7\u00e3o anterior, a Feira de Produtos Agroecol\u00f3gicos contou com total incentivo da Universidade Estadual da Para\u00edba (UEPB), por meio do N\u00facleo de Extens\u00e3o Rural em Agroecologia (NERA-UEPB) e do Centro Vocacional Tecnol\u00f3gico de Agroecologia e Produ\u00e7\u00e3o Org\u00e2nica: Agrobiodiversidade do Semi\u00e1rido (CVT), que funcionam no Centro de Ci\u00eancias Agr\u00e1rias Ambientais (CCAA), no C\u00e2mpus de Lagoa Seca. Al\u00e9m do NERA e do CVT, o evento contou com estande da Feirinha Agroecol\u00f3gica da UEPB, que acontece todas as quintas-feiras, na Pra\u00e7a de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o do C\u00e2mpus de Bodocong\u00f3. <\/p>\n<p>Professores e alunos dos cursos de Agroecologia e Agropecu\u00e1ria do CCAA participaram da atividade expondo produtos e fornecendo informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a import\u00e2ncia do consumo de alimentos sem a presen\u00e7a de agrot\u00f3xicos. A Feira foi organizada pela Comiss\u00e3o Estadual de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o Org\u00e2nica (CPOrg-PB), da qual a UEPB faz parte, e pelo Grupo de Trabalho de Comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o da Articula\u00e7\u00e3o do Semi\u00e1rido Paraibano (ASA Para\u00edba), dentro da programa\u00e7\u00e3o da Semana Nacional dos Org\u00e2nicos, celebrada entre os dias 26 de maio a 1\u00ba de junho. \/><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Com o tema \u201cPor um S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Livre de Transg\u00eanicos e Agrot\u00f3xicos\u201d, a Feira reuniu cerca de 60 agricultores oriundos de 25 munic\u00edpios das regi\u00f5es do M\u00e9dio Sert\u00e3o, Agreste, Cariri Oriental e Ocidental, Serid\u00f3, Curimata\u00fa e Borborema, onde j\u00e1 ocorrem feiras agroecol\u00f3gicas peri\u00f3dicas. No total, foram montadas 30 barracas para comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o e degusta\u00e7\u00e3o de uma diversidade de hortali\u00e7as, plantas medicinais, frutas, mel, leite, ovos e produtos beneficiados da agricultura familiar de base agroecol\u00f3gica, como queijo, bolos, polpas, doces e biscoitos, al\u00e9m das tradicionais comidas de milho, a exemplo da pamonha, canjica, mungunz\u00e1 e xer\u00e9m. <\/p>\n<p>Houve ainda apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o cultural, com o trio de forr\u00f3 do Centro de Cultura e Arte da UEPB, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de mudas plantas como barriguda, aroeiras e ip\u00eas, cultivadas do horto florestal do Centro de Ci\u00eancias Agr\u00e1rias e Ambientais, bem como distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais educativos, al\u00e9m de demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o de como \u00e9 feito o teste de transgenia nas sementes de milho.<\/p>\n<p>Integrantes da Comiss\u00e3o, as professoras do C\u00e2mpus II da UEPB, Shirleyde Alves dos Santos e \u00c9lida Correa Barbosa, destacaram a import\u00e2ncia da iniciativa que incentiva o homem do campo a continuar produzindo, gerando renda e qualidade de vida. A professora \u00c9lida disse que a feira visa promover o produto org\u00e2nico para a sociedade, mostrando que esses produtos n\u00e3o s\u00e3o caros e t\u00eam alto valor nutritivo, por serem ecologicamente corretos. Ela lembrou que uma das preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es dos cursos do CCAA \u00e9 garantir a promo\u00e7\u00e3o da produ\u00e7\u00e3o familiar de base ecol\u00f3gica que existe ricamente na regi\u00e3o. Ela ressaltou que os agricultores conseguem fazer uma revolu\u00e7\u00e3o em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola livre do veneno. <\/p>\n<ul \/><\/figure>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A professora Shirleyde Alves destacou que o NERA e o Centro Vocacional Tecnol\u00f3gico de Agroecologia e Produ\u00e7\u00e3o Org\u00e2nica da UEPB realizam um conjunto de a\u00e7\u00f5es, desenvolvidas em parceria com os agricultores. S\u00e3o projetos de assist\u00eancia t\u00e9cnica no campo, bem como projetos de pesquisas e extens\u00e3o, al\u00e9m das campanhas contra o uso de agrot\u00f3xicos e transg\u00eanicos. \u201cEssa feira \u00e9 de extrema relev\u00e2ncia, pois mostra para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o que existe condi\u00e7\u00f5es de produzir sem as subst\u00e2ncias qu\u00edmicas. Os agricultores trazem produtos que geram qualidade de vida e sa\u00fade para as pessoas\u201d, destacou. <\/p>\n<p>Erivam Farias \u00e9 estudante do curso de Agropecu\u00e1ria e tamb\u00e9m agricultor. Ele disse que a Feira Agroecol\u00f3gica consiste em uma experi\u00eancia enriquecedora e mostra o quanto a Universidade tem contribu\u00eddo para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar. \u201c\u00c9 importante mostrarmos para a sociedade que o agricultor produz e, ao mesmo tempo, agrega valor. \u00c9 fundamental para a academia estar junto do produtor, fornecendo conhecimentos\u201d, disse. O agricultor Nelson Ferreira dos Santos comercializa produtos do campo h\u00e1 20 anos e destacou a import\u00e2ncia da Feira e do apoio da UEPB. \u201cEssas feiras t\u00eam sido muito ricas para mostrar a import\u00e2ncia dos produtos livres de veneno\u201d, salientou.<\/p>\n<p>Em outra barraca, do Cariri e Serid\u00f3, a agricultora e artes\u00e3 Celma Couto, moradora de Soledade, comemorava o sucesso da Feira. \u201cO movimento est\u00e1 muito bom. O apoio que a Universidade d\u00e1 aos agricultores tem sido fundamental para a nossa atividade\u201d, disse.
